Assignments are performed in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and applicable lender and regulatory requirements. The firm focuses on residential property valuation within the New Braunfels and greater Central Texas market area.Role DescriptionSATX Valuation LLC is seeking a Residential Real Estate Appraiser or Appraiser Trainee to assist with residential valuation assignments.Responsibilities include property inspections, market data research, comparable sales analysis, and preparation of appraisal reports for single-family residential properties. The appraiser will analyze market evidence, develop supportable opinions of value, and prepare reports consistent with USPAP and lender guidelines.This role involves field inspections, market analysis, and report preparation using industry-standard appraisal software and MLS data systems.SATX Valuation LLC supports the training and development of appraisers and may provide supervised experience hours for qualified trainees.Responsibilities• Conduct residential property inspections• Research and verify comparable sales and market data• Analyze market conditions and property characteristics• Prepare residential appraisal reports (URAR and related forms)• Maintain workfiles and documentation consistent with USPAP requirements• Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, and other market participantsQualifications• State certification or licensure as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser or registered Appraiser Trainee• Working knowledge of USPAP and residential valuation methodology• Familiarity with appraisal software and MLS data systems• Ability to analyze market data and comparable sales• Strong written documentation and report preparation skills• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirementsPreferred• Knowledge of the San Antonio and Central Texas residential market• Experience preparing URAR residential appraisal reports
