Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in invoice processing and vendor management within the architecture industry. If you have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:- Process and verify invoices in a timely and accurate manner.- Manage vendor relationships and address any inquiries or discrepancies.- Ensure proper coding of invoices and maintain accurate financial records.- Perform check runs and ensure payments are distributed appropriately.- Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with relevant departments and vendors.- Follow established approval channels for invoice processing.- Maintain organized records of transactions and supporting documents.- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as required.- Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related roles.- Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments.- Familiarity with check runs and invoice approval procedures.- Strong communication skills for vendor management and internal coordination.- Attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Experience in the architecture industry is a plus but not required.- Solid organizational skills to maintain accurate financial records.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
