Under a new CEO, *** is committed to a transformative journey with 'Scale @ Speed' as our guiding principle.Job Title: Cognos DeveloperLocation:Greenville City, SCYears of Experience:10 to 20 YearsKey Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models, including data sources, query subjects, dimensions, and measure structures.Build relational and dimensional (DMR) models optimized for self service reporting.Collaborate with data architects, ETL teams, and business analysts to understand data structures and reporting requirements.Design and implement star/snowflake schemas, hierarchies, and business friendly views.Optimize model performance with proper indexing, query tuning, and caching strategies.Ensure data consistency, security rules, and governance across all published reporting packages.Publish and manage Cognos packages for enterprise reporting and dashboards.Troubleshoot model issues, performance bottlenecks, and lineage discrepancies.Work closely with QA and reporting teams to validate report accuracy and data integrity.Document FM models, data mappings, and best practices for ongoing maintenance.Mandatory Skills5+ years of hands on experience in IBM Cognos Framework Manager.Strong understanding of data modeling (OLTP a OLAP transformation).Proficient in star/snowflake schema design and dimensional modeling principles.Solid SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).Experience creating DMR models and building advanced calculations.Strong troubleshooting skills for complex joins, cardinality, and query execution.Familiarity with Cognos Analytics reporting tools is a plus.Ability to work in Agile environments and interact with business stakeholders.Preferred SkillsExperience with PropertyCasualty (P C) Insurance.Exposure to ETL tools (SSIS, BODS, etc.).Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and BI architecture.Experience with Guidewire DataHub or other enterprise data platforms."AI tools may assist in the recruitment process; however, all hiring decisions are made by the recruitment team based on a comprehensive evaluation of candidates.""*** is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
