Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule with a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts each week, providing opportunities to work alongside skilled surgical teams and build your clinical skills.Schedule:2 days per week: 8-hour shifts (6:50 am – 3:20 pm)2 days per week: 12-hour shifts (6:50 am – 7:20 pm)On-call required: One Saturday every five weeks (12-hour shift)Qualifications:Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT-CST)Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationRecent experience in perioperative and operating room settings preferredStrong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic techniques, and proceduresExcellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities:Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and sterile instruments before proceduresAssist surgical teams by anticipating needs and passing instruments during surgeryMaintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile protocols at all timesMonitor and respond to patient needs and safety throughout proceduresEnsure all surgical materials are accounted for before and after operative proceduresParticipate in restocking, room turnover, and other support tasks as assignedFulfill on-call duties according to rotation scheduleAs a valued member of the surgical team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care while advancing your professional skills.
