The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and confident in guiding patients through frame and lens selections while ensuring accuracy in prescription eyewear orders.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and contributing to a high-end boutique optical environment.Candidates with experience in lens edging and finishing are a plus, but not required.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferencesEducate patients on lens technology including progressives, coatings, specialty lenses, and premium optionsTake precise optical measurements (PD, OC height, segment height, etc.)Process eyewear orders and verify prescription accuracyDispense, adjust, and repair framesCoordinate with optical labs and vendorsMaintain an organized and visually appealing optical displayProvide an exceptional patient experience from frame selection to final dispensingPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience as an Optician or Optical Sales AssociateStrong knowledge of lens designs, materials, and frame fitting Experience with lens edging or finishing is a plus but not requiredExcellent communication and patient service skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with EMR or optical management software ABO certification is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationSupportive and collaborative team environmentBeautiful coastal office settingExposure to luxury eyewear collectionsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentLocation Eyes of the MarinaMarina del Rey, CA
