Great Company Culture and Mentorship/Mentorship opportunities! Job Details Responsibilities: As a Permanent Senior Bankruptcy Attorney, you will: 1. Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 filings. 2. Handle high-profile and complex commercial litigation matters. 3. Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations in bankruptcy proceedings. 4. Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling and persuasive manner. 5. Develop and implement strategies for managing and resolving complex debt issues. 6. Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients, seeking to reduce or eliminate debts where possible. 7. Conduct thorough research on bankruptcy laws, court decisions, and other legal matters relevant to each case. 8. Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs. 9. Work collaboratively with other members of our legal team, sharing your expertise and learning from others. 10. Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar. (NY) 3. A minimum of 7+ years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney, with a focus on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 filings. 4. Proven experience in commercial litigation, particularly in the middle market. 5. Demonstrated ability to handle high-profile cases with discretion, professionalism, and skill. 6. Strong understanding of debt matters and creditors' rights. 7. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 8. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients. 9. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, accessible language. 10.
