Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description Position SummaryThe Production Operator performs production line operations and material handling tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating equipment, following production standards, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction OperationsPerform production line and material handling tasks.Operate equipment requiring basic mechanical skills and aptitude.Achieve established production standards and labor targets.Inspection & Quality ControlInspect components, materials, documentation, and finished products.Identify non-conforming products (rejects).Ensure quality products are delivered to the next stage of production.Documentation & ComplianceAccurately document work in batch records, logbooks, and production documentation.Perform and document lot changes, line clearances, and cleaning procedures.Follow cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and company policies.Process MonitoringSample and evaluate products according to defined procedures.Monitor action levels and notify supervisors if issues arise.Evaluate equipment and process performance based on established standards.Team CollaborationWork in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, meetings, and cost reduction efforts.Communicate process and material issues to supervisors and team members.Required SkillsAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to follow verbal and written instructions accuratelyBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages)Ability to perform minor mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot equipmentMust pass GMP testing and area certificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust be at least 18 years oldWork EnvironmentManufacturing environment with varying physical activity levelsMay require occasional outdoor workPPE requirements include:Hearing protectionSafety shoesPrescription safety glasses (if applicable)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs unassistedAbility to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance
