The Service Desk Technician plays an important role in helping maintain reliable technology support for employees operating in fast-paced and operationally demanding environments.Position SummarySuperior Rigging and Erecting is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support day-to-day technology operations for office personnel, field employees, transportation operations, and operational leadership.This role is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting user issues, supporting Microsoft 365 environments, assisting with Azure Active Directory administration, configuring devices, and helping maintain operational technology systems.This position requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to support employees across both office and field environments.This position reports to the Information Technology leadership team. This position requires the candidate to be in office, it is not a remote or hybrid role. Will occasionally travel to other locations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support and User AssistanceProvide day-to-day technical support for office and field employeesRespond to service desk requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issuesSupport Microsoft Office 365 applications and user accountsAssist employees with password resets, account access, software installation, and troubleshootingConfigure and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and related technology equipmentSupport conference room technology and communication systemsMaintain professionalism and strong customer service when supporting employees across all levels of the organizationSystems and Infrastructure SupportAssist with Azure Active Directory and Active Directory user administrationSupport workstation setup, imaging, software deployment, and device configurationAssist with maintaining user accounts, permissions, and technology inventorySupport transportation and operational technology systems when neededAssist with onboarding and offboarding technology processesCoordinate with vendors and external support providers when necessaryMaintain accurate documentation of support activities and technical issuesOperational and Organizational SupportSupport technology needs across office, operational, and field environmentsAssist with maintaining operational uptime and responsiveness in fast-paced construction environmentsHelp support workforce communication and operational connectivityAssist with maintaining organized technology inventory and equipment trackingSupport cybersecurity awareness and company technology standardsIdentify recurring technical issues and communicate improvement opportunities to leadershipRequirementsCompTIA A+ Certification preferredOne to three years of service desk, IT support, or technical support experience preferredExperience supporting Microsoft Office 365 environments preferredFamiliarity with Azure Active Directory and/or Active Directory administration preferredExperience troubleshooting Windows-based systems and hardwareStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively with both office and field personnelExperience supporting operational, transportation, or construction-related environments is a plusValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferredAbility to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testingWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time off and paid holidaysOpportunity to lead fabrication operations supporting complex construction projectsLong-term career growth within a growing organizationEqual Employment Opportunity EmployerSuperior Rigging and Erecting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
