Our teams operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and data to help our clients in driving smarter decisions, reducing risks, and staying ahead in a fast-evolving market environment.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst to support financial data analysis, modeling, and AI-driven transformation initiatives within a leading financial services environment.This role requires a unique blend of financial domain expertise, data modeling capabilities, and systems analysis experience. The ideal candidate will quickly develop an understanding of fund-level upstream data sources, financial data structures, accounting processes, and underlying application logic to help define the firm's target-state data architecture and AI strategy.The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between Finance, Technology, Data Engineering, and AI teams, producing high-quality artifacts including data flow diagrams, business requirements, functional specifications, and data models that support the development of next-generation analytics and AI-enabled solutions.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret accounting, fund accounting, and financial datasets to support business decision-making, reporting, and transformation initiativesQuickly identify and document upstream fund-level data sources, financial attributes, data lineage, and data dependencies across the enterpriseDevelop a deep understanding of accounting system workflows, financial processing logic, and underlying application code to support target-state architecture designProduce detailed artifacts including data flow diagrams, process maps, business requirements, functional specifications, and data dictionariesPartner with stakeholders to define future-state data models and architectures that support advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning use casesDesign, build, and maintain robust data models aligned with financial, accounting, and risk management frameworksWork with large, complex datasets in Snowflake and SQL-based environmentsDevelop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysisTranslate financial reporting requirements and business objectives into scalable data-driven solutionsCollaborate closely with Finance, Risk, Data Engineering, Architecture, and AI teams to ensure data accuracy and alignmentSupport the development of AI-ready datasets and metadata structures that enable model training, reporting automation, and intelligent analyticsEnsure data quality, governance, lineage, and consistency across systemsContribute to enterprise data strategy, target-state architecture, and modeling standardsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of strong understanding of accounting principles, fund accounting concepts, and financial data structuresProven experience analyzing complex financial datasets and reporting environmentsExperience documenting business processes, data flows, requirements, and functional specificationsAbility to rapidly understand upstream and downstream data ecosystems within financial services organizationsAdvanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transformation, and data analysisHands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platformsExperience designing and maintaining financial data modelsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology teamsExperience working across multiple data sources and reconciling complex financial informationPreferred Qualifications:Background in quantitative analysis, financial engineering, business analysis, or data analyticsExperience within asset management, fund accounting, capital markets, treasury, or risk management environmentsExposure to AI, machine learning, or data science initiativesExperience supporting enterprise data transformation or target-state architecture programsFamiliarity with data lineage, metadata management, and governance frameworksExperience with ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data engineering practicesExperience working in consulting or client-facing environmentsCore Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to connect financial concepts with technical implementationsExcellent documentation and process modeling capabilitiesStrong attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to work independently in fast-paced environmentsEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsCuriosity and aptitude for understanding complex financial systems and data ecosystems**The base salary range for this role is $120,000 -
