Drive process improvements and preparation of financial reports.This position reports tothe Manager, Accounting.Essential Job FunctionsWork with compliance and controls team to implement controlsPrepare/participate in monthly close/consolidation and account reconciliation processesPrepare/participate in monthly reporting and analysis processesParticipate in annual external audit and statutory audit processesEnsure compliance with GAAP, including implementation of new standards and analysis of impact on businessBusiness partner to organization regarding functional questions/interactionsIdentify, recommend, and implement accounting process improvements to support the company goals and objectivesOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong understanding of all areas of general accounting including leases, fixed assets, costing, payroll/compensation, allocations, etc.Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and controls/compliance infrastructureStrong knowledge and application of GAAP – US and internationalChange managementIntellectual curiosity/critical thinkingAbility to identify areas of improvement and drive resultsStrong sense of urgencyManagemultiple responsibilitiesProcess improvement/idea generation/implementationExperience with external audit firm – participation in annual audit processExcellent Excel skillsExperience with preparation of external financial statements preferred not requiredMinimum Required Education, Training And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA a plusMinimum of 5 years accounting experience1-3 years of public accounting experienceExperience with Dynamics 365 Finance & OperationspreferredProcess improvement/project management skills a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make discriminations insound.Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic).FLSA StatusExemptTools And Equipment UsedLaptop or desktop computer, phone, copy machine, etc.Travel5% or less travelWork AddressSSC Boise, IDSavers is an E-Verify Employer
