Position SummaryJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for patient care supportive services for a unit(s) under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies,automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure.Job RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:This position requires at least 1 year experience as a CNA/Nurse Assistant/CaregiverBLS from the American Heart Association.Ability to read/write/speak English and utilize a computer in order to perform duties of position.Where You'll WorkNestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved.
