Program AssistantThe Program Assistant is responsible for the provision of a wide range of administrative duties supporting the day-to-day function of the domestic violence programs. The position will support, and work in concert with, the program coordinator, group facilitators, and clients as needed.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintaining physical files, reception/security area, and the overall front-line operationsSending communications via text message, letters, or phone calls as neededAdhering to best practices related to gender responsive and trauma informed strategiesCultivating and maintaining professional relationships with the guests/clients and staff who enter the buildingAll other duties as assigned by the Program CoordinatorRequired Skills/AbilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skills along with attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced environment.Preferred Skills/AbilitiesFluency in Spanish is preferredRequired Education and ExperienceExperience with Data collection and submission requiredExperience with Excel, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Word and database portals requiredMinimum 2 years' experience working in an office setting providing customer services both on and in person requiredMinimum of High School Diploma associates degree or administrative training certificate preferredTravel RequirementsMinimal Travel as needed for training, seminars, program events, etc.
