The unique curriculum is designed to nurture the total development of each child.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated full-time Lead Teacher to join our team at the Montessori School of Pawleys Island. As a Lead Teacher, you will create and implement Montessori lesson plans, foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment, and guide children in their educational and social development. You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and support the school's mission of fostering a love of learning. This is an on-site role located in Pawleys Island, SC.QualificationsProficient in Lesson Planning and Teaching with a strong understanding of Montessori educational practicesSkilled in Education and Training to foster child development and growthStrong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, students, and staffExperience working within early childhood education or Montessori environments is a plusA relevant education degree or Montessori certification is preferred but not required; required to obtain Montessori training within the first year of employmentPassionate about nurturing and guiding young children in accordance with Montessori principles
