Position Overview:
We seek to hire a Database Engineer to strengthen our data infrastructure team and support our growing technological needs across multiple database platforms and cloud environments. This role is crucial for maintaining the performance, reliability, and scalability of our database systems.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Administer and optimize SQL Server databases, including high availability setups and performance tuning.
2. Manage Snowflake security and access.
3. Oversee AWS database services, including RDS and NoSQL offerings.
4. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex database issues.
5. Drive innovation and adoption of new database technologies in multi-cloud environments.
6. Implement and maintain robust security measures.
7. Design and enforce access control policies across all database platforms.
8. Regularly audit and review access permissions to ensure the principle of least privilege.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of SQL Server administration and development experience
- 2+ years of Snowflake administration and development experience
- 3+ years of AWS technologies experience
- Certifications in SQL Server, AWS (Associate/Professional), and preferably Snowflake
- Knowledge of Azure (preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts
- In-depth knowledge of database security best practices and compliance requirements
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a challenging environment

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
