Intake / Client Care CoordinatorToms River, NJ In-personFull timePay: $19-$26/hour + benefitsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Intake / Client Care Coordinator to join our ABA therapy team. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective families and plays a critical role in guiding clients through the intake and onboarding process while ensuring exceptional customer service and ongoing support.The ideal candidate is personable, efficient, and passionate about helping families access high-quality ABA services for children with autism and related developmental needs.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Intake & Admissions* Respond promptly to new client inquiries via phone, email, and online referrals* Conduct initial intake calls and gather demographic, insurance, and clinical information* Explain ABA services, intake procedures, and next steps to families* Coordinate onboarding documentation and consent forms* Maintain and update intake pipelines and waitlists* Verify receipt of required records and documentationClient Care & Communication* Serve as a liaison between families, clinicians, and administrative staff* Provide compassionate support and timely communication to families throughout the onboarding process* Address client questions and concerns professionally* Maintain positive relationships with referral sources and familiesScheduling & Coordination* Coordinate initial assessments and appointments* Assist with clinician scheduling and client matching* Ensure smooth transition from intake to active servicesQualifications* High school diploma required* Experience in healthcare, ABA, behavioral health, medical office, or client coordination preferred* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and EMR systems* Knowledge of ABA therapy and insurance processes is a plusPreferred Skills* Empathy and professionalism when working with families* Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines* Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skillsBenefits* Competitive pay* Paid time off* Health benefits* Professional development opportunities* Supportive team environment* Opportunities for growth within the organizationHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter to info@achievebetteraba.com
