Role: Desktop Support
Location: Austin, TX, (ONSITE) United States
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will already have a proven experience of working as an analyst in a technical service center environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1st line technical support
- Answering calls to the service desk effectively and within the agreed SLAAssigning calls to relevant support teams
- Actioning back office requests as and when required
- Monitoring and actioning Web Logged calls
- Monitoring Team Notifier and updating calls
- Completing User Admin and Account set-ups as required
- Advising clients and support teams of known problems and workarounds
- Ensuring users are updated with the progress of their call/change
Skills Required:
- Excellent PC skills – including a knowledge of MS Office and general PC knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent Customer Care SkillsGood IT knowledge
- Good Analytical Skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to retain knowledge effectively
- Ability to multi task and take on additional roles as and when required
- Understanding of the need to work within the constraints of the Desk SLAPersonal Attributes: Team player with the ability to build relationships with both colleagues and external clients
- Analytical and methodical approach to working with keen eye for detail
- Flexibility within role and flexible approach to assigned work
- Enthusiastic, confident with a "can do" attitude
