Advanced Nurse Practitioner 30 hours

This part-time (30 hours, pro-rata salary) role involves autonomous advanced practice within a specialist palliative care hospice, delivering holistic, patient-centered care for those with life-limiting illnesses. The post requires clinical expertise across four pillars: clinical practice, management/leadership, education, and research. Based mainly on the inpatient unit, the role also supports all clinical services, including Well-Being Hwb.Responsibilities include triaging referrals, conducting assessments, developing care plans, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, promoting safe discharges, and supporting education and research initiatives. The post holder will contribute to policy development, clinical governance, and service improvement, ensuring high standards of practice.Qualifications include an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice, NMC registration, and Non-Medical Prescriber status. Experience in palliative care and strong communication skills are essential.
