Job DescriptionWE ARE SEARCHING FOR A TAX MANAGER IN TAMPA FL.As a Tax Manager, you value working closely with others to plan for the future and to help successful privately held for-profit companies and their owners avoid surprises, coordinate tax strategies, and grow. You will provide mostly on-site support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their businesses and industries.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManaging tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities with a broad range of for-profit industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail and Professional Services. Experience researching tax related matters and providing written correspondence with an understanding of the structure of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations. Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships including Billing & Collections independently. Representing company in the professional and business community with a Strong positive AttitudeParticipating in the proposal process for prospective clientsAssisting with managing, developing, and training professional tax staffExperience managing multiple client engagementsA strong sense of ownership for advocating for and providing a voice of direction for our Firm by participating in committees designed for client or staff development and operationsExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skillsMinimum Qualifications7 years or more of relevant experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and researchBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA license requiredPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in taxation or LL.M.
