Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, with both in-clinic and in-home services. We service clients with behavior, cognitive, developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood. We offer caring ABA therapy centered around the client's voice and experience. **We are currently looking for BCBAs for our Gilbert, N. Gilbert & Tempe Clinics! Ability to start with a full caseload plus a $10,000 signing bonus**
Job Summary
As a BCBA you will plan, develop and monitor effective treatment using evidence-based treatment methods. You will collaborate with team members, services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate and provide ongoing training and direct supervision to RBTs. Your work will directly change the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
Position Responsibilities:
Conducts ABA program management for adults and children with autism spectrum disorders
Provides direct client services, including initial assessments
Supervises RBTs and conducts training and coaching
Collaborates with client's treatment team and families to improve communicative, social, and behavioral outcomes for all clients, including Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and schools
Facilitates parent training and support families to access community resources
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and proficiency with a range of clinical approaches to care
Use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements.
Strong assessment skills and treatment planning expertise
Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record, track, and analyze therapy progress
Must have strong positive communication and interpersonal skills – works well with parents, children and other professionals
Client focus and strong ability to function as a team member
Requirements:
Must be Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the BACB.
Should be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of AZ (LBA)
Must be physically able to perform direct and supervision sessions
Must be able to administer variety of assessments and write treatment plans
Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card
Must be willing to complete or have completed the 8-hour supervisor training through BACB
Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification
1+ years of supervised BCBA work experience
Must hold a valid drivers' license and maintain proper current insurance
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a variety of postures including but not limited to kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. Candidate must also have the ability to move quickly to ensure client safety.
