Contractors Supply’s people-focused culture enables us to provide a comprehensive employee experience that allows each team member to achieve their full potential and thrive personally and professionally while enjoying their work. *ABOUT THE ROLE:* Material Distribution company requires a Warehoue Manager to lead and manage all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movemnet. The ideal candidate for this role has strong interpersonal skills and the experience to plan, assign and oversee the daily operations of warehouse personnel to ensure productivity, efficiency, compliance, and safety. *Day-to-Day Responsibilities:* * Supervise and guide warehouse staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback, training and professional development. * Ensure timely and accurate execution of shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions. * Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and Office Teams to coordinate and prioritize daily initiatives. * Enforce adherence to company policies and industry standards. * Promote and maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and leading incident investigations and corrective actions. * Lead or support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. * Perform other duties as assigned *Qualifications:* * Associate’s or Bachelors Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. * Three to Five years of supervisory experience in a logistocs, warehousing or distribution environment. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and manage a diverse team. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong verbal and written communication skills; conflict resolution and negotiation ability required. * Physically capable of performing duties in a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, etc.) * Customer Service Focused * Ability to effectively read and write * Basic math skills * Excellent organizational skills * Must be able to multi task *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:* * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks). * Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth differentiation. * Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation.
