Demonstrate expertise in multi-tiered application development, and familiarity with design considerations such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), performance, scalability, re-usability, and flexibility.
Proven ability to manage deadlines.
Ability to support multiple projects at the same time.
Must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up-like environment.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in server-side Java, J2EE, ORM, and RESTful services.
5 - 7 years overall Software Engineer/Developer experience.
At least 5 years of experience with OO Java programming.
Spring MVC, Spring Boot with Microservices, Spring AOP, Spring JDBC, and Spring transactions.
Design patterns.
RDBMS and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of HTML, XML, Mustache, CSS, JavaScript, and JS Libraries.
Familiarity with AWS.
Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful services.
Familiarity with Git and Gradle.
Experience with unit testing frameworks.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Scala.
Experience with high-traffic eCommerce applications, or online merchandising websites.
Working knowledge of software development methods and processes including Waterfall and Agile development practices.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
