Senior Technical Trainer Teaneck, NJ $85K–$100K + Benefits This is a high-impact role where you’ll build a global Technical Academy from scratch—designing and delivering training programs that enable Field Service Engineers to support complex hardware/software systems in real-world environments.
What you’ll do:
- Build and lead a scalable technical training academy for field teams
- Develop training content (manuals, videos, certifications L1–L3)
- Deliver hands-on training (in-person & virtual)
- Create SOPs and standardise field operations
- Partner with Engineering/Product to roll out new tech updates
- Track training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in technical training/enablement (hardware + software environments)
- Experience building training programs or academies from the ground upStrong documentation, SOP, and instructional design skills
- Confident delivering training and simplifying complex systems
- Comfortable in field/industrial environments with ~30% travel
