C/A is seeking a full-time Content Editor to assist with a variety of print and digital editorial projects at our rapidly growing content marketing agency. The position requires a blend of journalism, marketing and project management skills:Develop content strategies and editorial plans that drive the marketing goals of our clientsGenerate story ideas and packaging concepts for print and digital projectsWrite and edit quality content that engages B2C and B2B audiences and generates leads for clientsAssist in selecting freelance writers and supervise their workEdit content so that it is consistent with our standard style guide (Associated Press) and client brand guidelinesShepherd, manage and organize agency projects (websites, landing pages, email programs, etc.), from kickoff to launchPopulate web-ready content in a variety of content management systems, including WordPressConduct basic keyword research and use SEO guidelines to search optimize contentIdentify client needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company’s current contentServe as a liaison between C/A and its clients, keeping projects on track, communicating production changes and submitting work for input and approvalThis position follows a hybrid schedule from our Phoenix office. Applicants must live in the Phoenix area and be able to work on‑site regularly. Working hours are standard office times; however, deadlines may occasionally stretch this further.
