Job SummaryA member of the retail team, the Part Time Sales Associate, is responsible for sales execution and providing outstanding shopping experience for our customers. This position may be dependent upon to open and close the store as needed, with all deposit and opening/closing procedures followed strictly and consistently. Receiving merchandise and stocking the store with merchandise as needed are requirements as well. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to work at multiple locations as requested.Core ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed sales goalsMaintain customer service standards to the highest possible levelTake responsibility in coordination with the Store Manager & Director of Retail Operations of all tasks leading to productivity and profitability of the storeMaintain the highest level of security and safety awareness in the storeConsistently work to be knowledgeable in areas of product, merchandising, customer service, and sales goals/objectivesIn coordination with the Sore Manager and Director of Retail Operations, participate in the execution of effectively receiving and merchandising inventoryHave thorough knowledge of sales floor and stockroom organizationMaintain constant cleanliness of all areas of the store and maintain standardsResponsible to maintain communication with Store Manager & Director of RetailAbility to problem-solve, troubleshoot and understand POS and all systemsResponsible for all activities within the store in the absence of Store Manager or DirectorAbility to work shifts on weekends and holidays according to the needs of the storeFlexibility to work in multiple of our store locationsRequired Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceCollege Degree in Business or related field is preferredProficiency in POS SystemsExcellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong commitment to corporate sustainability, ocean conservation, and the mission of the Center.About UsFounded in 1983, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a leading cultural attraction in South Florida and today remains free to the public.
