Material Handler

Adecco is currently hiring Warehouse Associates / Material Handlers for a leading client in Clayton, IN. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe movement, storage, and distribution of materials and products. Key Responsibilities As a Warehouse Associate / Material Handler, you will: Load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse Pick, pack, scan, kit, and count inventory accurately Safely operate material handling equipment Utilize handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 7S standards Follow all company safety policies and procedures Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience operating material handling equipment Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced setting Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience Experience using handheld RF scanners or barcode scanning equipment High School Diploma or GED Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods Frequently bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach Handle products of various shapes, sizes, and weights Use hands and fingers to operate warehouse equipment and tools Work in varying warehouse temperatures as needed Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
