Club Hospitality Summer Intern

Position SummaryLife Time is seeking a motivated student from top hospitality schools across the country, to work collaboratively in our Athletic Country Clubs within multiple in-center departments. Your specific area of focus and rotational experience will be within; Membership Concierge, Facility Operations, LifeCafe (Restaurant), and Club Events. The internship is an opportunity for students to experience delivery of our elevated member experience through multiple lenses, and help apply knowledge of hospitality best practices, while learning from our top leaders.Life Time is the nation's premier healthy lifestyle brand and empowers people to live healthy, happy lives through its portfolio of 200+ Life Time destinations across the United States and Canada. Through the best people, programs and places, we provide the best athletic country club experiences.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally with Department Leaders and teams to executive strategies in the core departmentsHelps improve the overall member experience by demonstrating high-end hospitality and service with members directlyObserves behind the scenes systems and processes within scheduling, ordering, and administrative responsibilitiesParticipates in Department Leader meetings for exposure to leadership principles at Life TimeSupports overall execution of club events to drive member engagement and provide ideas/insight on areas of improvementMinimum Required QualificationsMust be enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student in a hospitality programCurrently maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higherExcellent communication and teamwork skillsDemonstrates the ability to engage with member or customersPassion for Life Time's mission and valuesWilling to participate in Life Time events and athletic programsPreferred ServSafe Food Handler & ServSafe Alcohol Safety or EquivalentLife Time is a place for everyone.
