Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits.What You Will DoProvide professional-level support for compensation programs including job evaluations, market pricing, salary planning, and bonus administration. Identify and recommend solutions where inequities may exist. Consult with Human Resources Management and/or hiring managers regarding compensation issues. Support resolution of issue escalations from Shared Service Center.Perform job evaluations and market price positions utilizing a variety of salary surveys to recommend the appropriate grade for positions across the organizationManage special projects such as designing job codes and salary structures, and conducting comprehensive FLSA reviewParticipate in salary surveys across the organizationRecommend adjustments to salary structures, merit matrices, and serve as resource to HR personnel for salary planning processEvaluate job requisitions for matching of duties to appropriate grades and ensuring FLSA status is in complianceAdminister various incentive programsPrepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentation to staff and senior managementCollaborate with peers to research or investigate issue escalations from the HR Service Center and provide solutionPerform other duties as requestedWhat You Bring To FreeportBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field and four (4) years experience in compensation or related field OR;High School Diploma and eight (8) years experience in compensation or related field, plus three (3) years of human resources experience, or professional-level operations experience, including significant human resources work.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook; plus experience working with relational database systems.Report building and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to focus on details and deliver high-quality, accurate results.Capable of planning and managing multiple projects at one time.Ability to work with general office equipment such as: personal computer/keyboard, facsimilePreferred QualificationsCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) CertificationExperience in using various cloud based compensation data management tools such as MarketPay, Pay Factors, Kenexa Comp Analyst, etc.Experience in using various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo, SuccessFactors, Brassring, etc.What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,500-$120,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
