OverviewWe are seeking a Global Marketing Consultant for a reputable beauty brand located in Irvine, CA. The role is temporary starting immediately with an anticipated end date of June 30th. Ideally, this individual will live locally and is able to go on-site however we are flexible to fully remote candidates if they can operate within PST. The role is 30 hours per week during standard business hours. The Global Marketing Consultant will drive the execution of our global consumer engagement strategy, with a focus on end-to-end Go-To-Market (GTM) excellence. This role balances creative brand building with rigorous operational oversight to deliver disruptive, consumer-facing activations. Reporting to the SVP of Global Marketing, you will act as the "engine" behind our most visible global initiatives, ensuring strategic vision is translated into flawless execution.Key ResponsibilitiesGTM Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end Go-To-Market process for global campaigns, ensuring all workstreams (creative, digital, regional) are synchronized for maximum impact.Operational Excellence: Apply strong project management principles to oversee complex marketing lifecycles; identify and resolve bottlenecks in the campaign development process.Disruptive Activations: Lead the conception and implementation of "needle-moving" marketing programs that drive consumer engagement and brand equity.Strategic Partnerships: Manage and scale high-profile partnerships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build integrated 360-degree promotional plans.Innovation & Storytelling: Identify emerging trends and technologies to evolve brand storytelling; build relationships with emerging technology providers.Regional Localization: Partner with regional teams to customize global toolkits, ensuring local relevance without compromising brand consistency.Measurement & ROI: Establish a solid measurement framework to assess global impact, using data to identify success patterns and future opportunities.Budget & Resource Management: Manage the annual global consumer engagement budget, tracking spend and ROI from initial planning through to final execution.Cruelty-Free Lead: Serve as the strategic communications lead for the brand’s cruelty-free positioning, partnering with corporate teams on all related materials.Charitable Giving: Support and operationalize the brand’s charitable giving and social impact strategies.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 7–12+ years of marketing experience. We are open to leveling the role (Senior Manager to Executive Director) based on the candidate’s seniority and track record.GTM & Operations Focus: Deep experience in Go-To-Market planning and a proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.Project Management Skills: High level of organizational health; experience using PM tools and methodologies to keep global teams on track and on budget.Expertise: A background in global brand building, disruptive digital marketing, and managing celebrity/KOL relationships.Mindset: A mix of creative visionary and operational disciplinarian—you know how to tell a story, but you also know how to build the roadmap to get it told.
