Team members are encouraged to create timeless, distinctive work that stands out and endures.Role Description The User Interface Designer will work on-site in the Detroit Metropolitan Area in a contract capacity, collaborating closely with creative and technical partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing intuitive, visually compelling interfaces for web and digital experiences, creating detailed mockups, and aligning UI design with broader brand guidelines. The designer will translate concepts into user-centered layouts, support UX efforts through wireframes and interaction patterns, and ensure design consistency across platforms. The role involves partnering with front-end development to hand off clear specifications and assets, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and iterating designs based on user and client input.Qualifications Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills, with a focus on brand-aligned digital experiences.Ability to create clear, detailed Mockups and layout compositions for web and product interfaces.Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including usability, interaction patterns, and user flows.Familiarity with Front-End Development processes and constraints to enable effective collaboration with engineers.Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Cloud).Experience designing responsive interfaces for multiple devices and screen sizes.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.Prior experience in brand-focused or agency environments is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
