Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Grandfalls, TX for a Head Boys Basketball Coach. The role includes leading and managing the boys' basketball program, developing strategic coaching plans, and conducting practices to enhance team performance. The Coach is expected to mentor student-athletes, foster teamwork, and instill a strong work ethic while ensuring compliance with all school and athletic program policies. Ensuring students' academic progress and personal growth is also a key part of the role. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Basketball Coaching and Coaching methodologies, with a proven ability to build and lead successful sports programs.In-depth knowledge and experience in Basketball, including strategy development, skill-building, and game analysis.Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and school staff, promoting collaboration and clear expectations.Skills in Training and mentoring student-athletes, focusing on both athletic and personal development.Ability to inspire a positive team culture and uphold sportsmanship and ethical standards.Relevant certifications or coaching licenses required; teaching credentials are a plus.Previous experience as a basketball coach at the high school level or comparable experience is preferred.Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage schedules, equipment, and team logistics effectively.
