With a robust referral network, a large procedural backlog, and strong team support, this position is tailor-made for a physician ready to hit the ground running and be rewarded for their productivity.Position Snapshot:Employed opportunity joining 3 Gastroenterologists and 4 experienced Advanced Practice ProvidersBalanced schedule: 5 days/week with half-day clinic and half-day procedure blocks1:4 call rotation shared equally, including weekends and holidaysProcedures performed onsite in a modern Endoscopy Center with 4 procedure roomsCentralized care model no travel to satellite clinics requiredClinical Environment:Backlog of 1,000+ scopes and increasing demand for GI careOlympus scopes and CRNA support with anesthesiologist oversightDedicated APPs support both clinic operations and inpatient roundingHigh volume potential: physicians routinely perform 2,500 3,200 procedures/yearPhysicians also manage 1,500 2,000 outpatient visits annuallyCompensation & Perks:Base salary: $650K $675KSign-on bonus: $25,000Commencement bonus: $25,000Relocation assistance: $15,000$4,500 CME allowanceMonthly stipend available for candidates in trainingJ-1 visa candidates encouraged to applyRealistic potential to earn $1.2M+ annually, based on volume and productivityAdvanced Procedure Opportunities:ERCP and EUS are preferred but not requiredColleague support is available for advanced procedures if you're not yet trained or prefer to focus on general GIAbout the Practice Setting:Endoscopy Suite located on the hospital campus for easy access to clinic, procedures, and inpatient roundingPlans underway to expand endoscopy capacity with a new center just steps from the main hospitalGI providers typically perform procedures per session, with strong operational supportAbout Westlake, LA:Located just across the river from Lake Charles, Westlake offers small-town charm with access to vibrant culture, great food, and outdoor recreation.
