Caregiver-Private Duty Home Care

CarePlus TLC is seeking, energic, detail-oriented HHA/CNAs who are committed to creating a positive experience in our patient's lives. You will assist the Physician in providing care to patients by creating a friendly, caring environment. The successful candidate is self-motivated, compassionate and able to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Take care of 1 person in their own home vs multiple people in an inordinate setting! No mandating!Client is located in Kentwood. 12-hour shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a. 7 days a week. 12-36 hours per week along with per diem availableResponsibilities: Take and record Vital signsMonitor patient's condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family membersProvide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.Transfers patient with equipment using appropriate safety measures (gait belt, hoyer, sit-to-stand lifts)Ability to reposition client in bedUnderstands First Aid and Emergency Care protocolsComplete electronic documentation while on shiftMedication RemindersAssist client with use of urinal and bed pansuctioning required-included with trainingTrach and Vent care-if not licensed nurse, signed waiver is completedSkills:Familiarity with Home Health Care, safety, and sanitation standards and proceduresUnderstanding of Confidentiality and Privacy LawsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of basic medical terminologyAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team memberCompassionate and able to handle tough situations as needed1 year experience as a CNA/caregiverTo apply please call #616-884-5401info@careplustlc.comBenefitsWEEKLY PAY!!Paid trainingNo Mandating!!Employee stock ownership.
