Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, Epic proficiency, and charge nurse experience.Job Details• Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System,• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Monday-Wednesday, 10:45am-11:15pm,• Night call required: 11pm-7am, one night every other week,• Weekend call required: 24-hour call on Saturday or Sunday, one weekend every other month,• Holiday call rotation required,• Charge nurse coverage required as needed (5:30pm-11:15pm),• EMR: Epic (experience required),• Scrubs are provided by the facility,• Free parking available on-site,Job Requirements• Active CT or Compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required,• Charge nurse experience required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not eligible for this position,• No prior disciplinary actions or violations on nursing license,• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered,Additional Information• Provide perioperative nursing care within a Level III Trauma Center OR setting,• Must be available to participate in emergency response activities, including natural disaster response, as required by the facility,• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted,• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions may be considered,• Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) may be approved by the facility,
