General Manager
Our high-volume restaurant is looking for a dynamic and flexible leader who can provide our diners with an exceptional experience. As restaurant general manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. You will be able to recruit, hire, and train a staff who is passionate about delivering great customer service. The general manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. $90,000 - $105,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Prepare a thorough business strategy for the restaurant, taking into account the local market, the competition, revenue, and costs
Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends
Recruit, interview, train, and motivate restaurant staff
Aim to provide the best possible dining experience for all of our customers
Hold team members accountable by conducting performance reviews with them and using performance management
Assures all products and services are consistent with company quality standards
Qualifications:
Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
Must have 2-3 years prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role, preferably in food service
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
Previous food service experience with the ability to oversee food inventory levels and manage costs
