Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Our client in Monmouth County, NJ is seeking a part time Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic team. This provider will treat patients in an ortho urgent care setting, working alongside an established team. Candidates with orthopedic experience are preferred.Responsibilities:Part-time permanent positionMonday-Friday hours 5p-8pSaturday 11a-4pConduct thorough patient evaluations and assessmentsDiagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory testsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patientsPrescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitationMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededPerform injectionsFracture careQualifications:New Jersey State licenseKnowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminologyStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectivelyProficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systemsHourly rate
