The selected candidate will oversee multidisciplinary technical teams, manage project schedules and risks, coordinate deliverables, and serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders.The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience managing federal geospatial programs, executing performance work statement (PWS)-driven contracts, and ensuring compliance with Department of the Interior (DOI) IT and security requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead execution of all contract tasks and coordinate project activities across technical teamsDevelop and maintain project management plans, quality control plans, work plans, and related artifactsManage project schedules, milestones, risks, and resource allocationOversee delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual contract deliverablesConduct post-award meetings and support contract startup activitiesServe as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and program stakeholdersCoordinate recurring project meetings, status updates, and reporting requirementsMaintain organizational charts and personnel documentationEnsure compliance with DOI IT, security, and reporting requirementsLead multidisciplinary teams supporting geospatial, database, data integration, and analytical activitiesTraining & Outreach Leadership ResponsibilitiesIn addition to program management responsibilities, this role will serve as the Training & Outreach Lead for the program. The selected candidate will develop and maintain training plans, facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, coordinate webinars and hands-on instruction, and ensure technical workflows are translated into accessible user guides and program documentation.Key training and outreach responsibilities include:Develop and maintain annual training plans and schedulesFacilitate internal and external webinars, workshops, and stakeholder briefingsProduce user guides, quick reference materials, and updates to program documentationTranslate complex geospatial and technical workflows into clear, actionable guidance for end usersCoordinate with the BOEM COR and stakeholders to identify training needs and communication prioritiesSupport outreach initiatives and ensure timely dissemination of program updates and educational materialsPromote knowledge sharing and adoption of geospatial tools, processes, and best practices across the programRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Project Management, GIS, Geography, Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience managing federal geospatial programs and multidisciplinary technical teamsExperience executing PWS-driven federal contractsStrong knowledge of project scheduling, risk management, and quality management processesFamiliarity with Department of the Interior (DOI) IT and security requirementsExperience managing federal reporting, stakeholder engagement, and program deliverablesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a NACI/Public Trust clearancePreferred QualificationsPMP certificationExperience supporting BOEM, DOI, NOAA, USGS, or other federal agenciesBackground managing GIS, environmental, or scientific data programsExperience leading geographically distributed technical teamsFamiliarity with marine resources, geospatial systems, or natural resource management programsEssnova Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
