Sewing Technician

We have immediate vacancies for Sewing Technicians. The job functions include operation of a variety of commercial sewing machines with the goal of producing apparel, home fashion, commercial interior décor and advertising products. These positions are full or part time, depending on workload and employee availability. Creative Cause Solutions is a leader in On-Demand Manufacturing of products, typically sold through on-line retailers. We make a variety of items, including active wear, bedding, table linens, curtains, etc. We operate commercial sewing equipment (Juki, Adler, etc.) using single needle, double needle, straight stitch, serger, coverstitch, flatlock, merrow, and others. Additional machines are used for finishing and trims. Full-time schedules will typically be First Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm. Part-time schedules are flexible. Take-home work that can be done at appropriate locations for experienced staff. Schedule changes may be made as needed, depending on current workloads. Skills needed include the ability to efficiently operate a variety of sewing machines, produce high-quality results, and maintain a productive and organized work station. No commercial sewing experience is required, but familiarity with sewing methods, terminology and processes are highly recommended. We can train the more complex aspects of the job. However, if you have extensive commercial sewing experience, leadership ability, or experience with quality control and inspection, we definitely want to hear from you. Starting wage for this position ranges from $13 - up to $17 per hour, for experienced workers with advance skills and capabilities further increases are possible.
