Warren Street Hotel, Firmdale’s newest New York property is seeking a dynamic, and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support our team culture, employee experience and day-to-day HR function.This fully on-site role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment and enjoys balancing recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration and team engagement.The successful HR Generalist:Has the ability to listen effectively to employee and management concerns, provide conflict resolution, conduct investigations, and follow up on outcomes, including documentation memos. Identifies sources for candidates for employment, implements hiring processes, and ensures smooth onboarding.Onboards employees, setting the tone for the employee experience and engagement in this and employee recognition initiatives.·Builds relationships throughout the Hotel from dishwashers to the General Manager to ensure understanding of business needs and provide a platform for effective assistance with employee relations issues.Processes payroll using ADP Workforce Now, maintains recordkeeping, and supports managers and employees in timekeeping, PTO, and employee self-service tools.Candidates should have:2+ years of human resources experience in a hospitality setting that includes payroll processing, employee relations, and recruitment, preferably using an ADP Workforce Now. A college degree in HR or a related field, or an alternative degree with PHR certification.A track record of success in handling the full range of employee relations issues.Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and implementation of HR best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Be inspired by Firmdale, www.firmdalehotels.comAnd learn more about the New York hotels https://www.firmdalehotels.com/hotels/new-york/Find out why we inspire employees to Love What You Do https://www.firmdalehotels.com/b/careers/love-what-you-do/Salary range for this HR Generalist is $75,000 - $85,000.
