Quality Control Associate

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Quality Control Associate - 2nd Shift (Onsite) for a contract position with a Major Biotechnology Company located in Holly Springs, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.Summary:This role involves executing second shift Quality Control activities within a fast-paced, GMP-regulated laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and owning quality records, such as deviations and CAPAs, and will serve as a key point of contact for manufacturing operations during the shift. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.Responsibilities:Execute QC second shift activities, including sample receipt, prioritization, and accurate entry into LIMSServe as a point of contact for Manufacturing during night shift operations, supporting production schedules, issue resolution, and risk escalationIndependently perform routine and complex analytical testing in chemistry, bioassay, and/or microbiology, including STAT testing as requiredEnsure accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with GDP, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirementsSupport laboratory investigations related to deviations or OOS results and communicate shift-level risks to QC leadershipUtilize electronic systems including LIMS, Biovia (LES, ELN, CIMS/CISPro), and Veeva Vault (QualityDocs, QMS)Collaborate cross-functionally to meet testing timelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequirements:High school/GED with 2+ years of work experience OR an Associate's degree with 6+ months of work experience OR a Bachelor's degreeAt least 3 years of experience working in a GMP-regulated lab or manufacturing settingStrong background in writing and owning quality records such as deviations and CAPAsClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyWorking understanding of QC laboratory processesDesired skills:Experience using the Veeva Quality system is highly desirablePay range: up to $43.64 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!Aptask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
