Manager Mobile and Vaccine Clinic

Job Summary:The Mobile Surgery & Vaccine Clinic Manager oversees the daily operations of the organization's mobile spay-neuter surgery unit and community vaccine clinics. This role ensures smooth workflow, excellent client service, high standards of patient care, and compliance with all veterinary and safety protocols. The Manager supervises staff, coordinates logistics, manages schedules and inventory, and supports veterinarians and technicians to optimize efficiency and quality of care.Skills/Experience:Logistics & Administrative Duties Develop weekly and monthly vaccine and mobile clinic schedules. Maintain accurate records for surgeries, vaccines, microchips, and medical logs. Support outreach events and partner collaboration. Collect payments and manage compliance paperwork.Inventory & Equipment Management Track and order medical supplies, drugs, and equipment. Maintain DEA-compliant logs when applicable. Coordinate routine maintenance of mobile units and equipment. Ensure all medical spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards.Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA, state veterinary board, and internal medical protocols. Ensure safe animal handling practices. Participate in quality control and safety audits.Qualifications – Required Experience in veterinary or animal welfare fields. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to safely handle animals of all sizes and temperaments. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Clear written and verbal communication. Must be 25 years old for insurance purposes Experience driving large vehicles Management experienceQualifications – Preferred Veterinary technician experience. HQHVSN experience. Experience operating large vehicles. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Mobile Surgery Operations Management Oversee all mobile spay-neuter clinic activities to ensure a safe, efficient, high-volume workflow. Coordinate daily mobile unit schedules, staff assignments, and travel routes. Ensure adherence to HQHVSN protocols. Set up and break down mobile clinic equipment while maintaining organized and safe workspaces. Monitor patient flow from check-in through recovery and discharge. Troubleshoot on-site challenges, equipment issues, and environmental constraints.Vaccine Clinic Oversight Manage community vaccine clinic operations, both mobile and stationary. Ensure proper vaccine handling, storage, and documentation. Supervise client flow and ensure accurate medical recordkeeping. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe and effective administration of vaccines, microchips, and preventatives.Staff Leadership Supervise veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff. Train new team members on workflow, safety protocols, and client communication. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Foster a supportive, efficient, and positive work environment.Client Relations & Public Interaction Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and partner organizations. Provide excellent customer service and assist with forms and instructions. Maintain professionalism in diverse onsite environments.Physical Requirements Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods and work in mobile environments. Comfortable handling surgical instruments, animals, and biohazards.Work ScheduleFull-time, including early mornings and weekends.
