Role overviewTo lead a review of the current book of business through a series of micro-projects to ensure regulatory alignment with the current pension regulations, corporate governance and tax requirements. The postholder will help enhance policies and procedures to ensure we maintain high quality pension administration services to existing and potential clients.Job AccountabilitiesProject management including supervision and oversight of any junior members of the team:Project managementReview of current files in liaison with in-house legal and external legal and tax advisors to create a suite of documents and procedures for the management of the contractsReview of current book of business to ensure managed in line with the contract reviewNew business procedures for client take-on including system set up reviewed and updatedReview and ensure pension contracts are reporting is up to dateReview and assessment of bespoke asset classesReview and adoption of new investment monitoring process to include review of current book and drafting of policies and proceduresDrafting of minutes, agreements and/or documents to support any amendments required following legal and tax review of contractsPreparation of reports and information to report on regulatory alignment project progressUnderstanding and supporting Board with regulatory and legislative requirements and ensuring our policies and procedures align with these changesEscalate any risks to the BoardManagement of any support administrationMinimum Education And ExperienceEducated to ‘A’ Level standard, or equivalentA minimum of six years’ relevant experienceAttainment of a relevant professional qualificationExtensive experience in a fiduciary environmentPreferable but not essentialExperience of running a regulatory projectExperience of file remediation within the trust or pension realmRequired SkillsAbility to build and maintain strong client relationships in accordance with Praxis standardsDemonstrated ability of managing a team/projectStrong and effective negotiation skillsExcellent critical analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to work to deadlines independentlyEffective business writing skillsExcellent knowledge of Pension SchemesWe are looking to receive applications from local applications not requiring a housing licence.
