Apply Now Automation Technician Winston-Salem, North CarolinaJob Ref: 41224Winston Salem, NCAutomation Technician- $36/hr.-$40/hr.Monday-Friday (2pm-1030pm)Saturdays/OT optionalJob DescriptionAdvanced knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, ladder logic (minor code changes), and related controlsTroubleshoot, repair, and replace VFDs, servos, camera/vision systems, on-line production printers, motors, robots, and other machine control devicesRead and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawingsProactively look for eqpt trends, root causes & variances. Develop action plans for & implement improvementsTroubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systemsActively perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipmentQuickly respond to and correct equipment issuesCross-train Maintenance team on skills as appropriateBasic use of power tools and hand tools Experience: • 8+ years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Education:Required- High school diploma or GED equivalentPreferred- AS Degree in Automation/Electronics or Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics5+ years' experience working in high-speed manufacturing environment, food manufacturing/packaging experience, blending/batching/FDA or other regulatory experience.
