We see a mix of Medical/Vision patients. We have 48 clinics including satellites, some with optical, and 5 surgery centers. We are currently the largest eye care provider in the state of Virginia.Ophthalmologist Job Requirements & QualificationsA medical degree in ophthalmologySuccessful completion of an ophthalmology internship/residencyValid state license to practice ophthalmologyWe’re looking for a cataract surgery ophthalmologist interested in performing high-volume surgery in an independent and autonomous roleWhy You’ll Love This OpportunityEnvironment: As a general MD in our practice, you’ll have the opportunity to provide a wide range of services to your patients, including cataract surgery, lasers, and minor procedures. Our MDs typically see 45 to 50 patients a day with a scribe and tech.Opportunity: We have a wonderful office environment with a great schedule of 7:30 AM to 5 PM with no weekends or evenings! Our ODs typically see 30 patients a day with a scribe and tech.Location: You will love coming to work in our friendly and upbeat environment. You’ll be working alongside another MD usually, as well as an OD.
