Project Specialist IIIOur client is seeking an experienced Project Specialist 3 to support large-scale infrastructure and substation projects. This role focuses on project scheduling, coordination, and performance tracking, serving as a key link between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.You will play a critical role in ensuring projects stay on schedule, risks are identified early, and performance is accurately tracked and reported.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage project schedules for 100–150 active projectsBuild and update master integrated schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS)Perform schedule analysis, including delay documentation and time impact analysisMonitor project performance using forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value trackingCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal teams to gather data and ensure alignmentIdentify risks, issues, and opportunities, and escalate or resolve as neededSupport planning of project objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverablesMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, and recordsOccasionally travel to job sites (less than once per month)Requirements7+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or construction/capital projectsStrong proficiency in Primavera P6Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and SAPBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsUtility or energy industry experienceSubstation project experienceBackground in construction management
