This healthcare system is dedicated to fostering excellence in patient care and professional growth, making it an outstanding environment for medical professionals to thrive.Major Duties of the Position:Provide quality service in our progressive, innovative health care system for the veteran outpatient primary care population.Deliver patient-centered primary care services in an outpatient setting.Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific health and lifestyle needs of patients.Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to educational development programs affiliated with the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine.Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research, and be eligible for a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the University of New Mexico.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for outpatient primary care patients.VA Offers a Comprehensive Total Rewards Package: VHA Physician Total Rewards.Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Highly qualified individuals may be eligible for a recruitment/relocation incentive in accordance with agency policy.
