CDL A (Articulating Boom Crane Certification)

Overview: We are seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products. Who are we? National Glass a leader in Glass distribution, we are growing our team to keep up with the market needs. What we do, architectural windows, shower doors, skylights, shelving, and custom mirrors. Responsibilities: - Safely operate commercial vehicles, and Operate the Articulating Boom attached to the truck. - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as Articulating Boom - Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods - Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any delays or issues that may arise - Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record - Proven experience operating manual transmission vehicles - Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus - Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols - Ability to load and unload cargo using appropriate techniques- Ability to lift 75 pounds consecutively - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and heavy lifting Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
