This position will require some travel, approximately 25% (one week per month) to the National Beef facilities in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania and Moultrie, Georgia.ResponsibilitiesOn-site IT Support Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:Handson on-site IT support role supporting meat processing and food production facilities in a USDAregulated environment. Responsible for Windows desktop support, basic Windows Server administration, and on-site network troubleshooting. Ideal for a selfdirected technician with 3-5 years of experience who thrives in manufacturing environments and can travel approximately 25% to support multiple plant locations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & EndUser SupportServe as the first point of contact for on-site IT support issuesSupport Windows desktop and laptop systems (Windows 10/11)Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application issuesImage, deploy, replace, and manage workstation life-cycleSupport printers, scanners, and other plantfloor peripheralsAssist users with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, One-Drive)Server & Systems SupportProvide basic to intermediate support for Windows Server environmentsAssist with Active DirectoryEscalate issues to centralized infrastructure or security teams as neededPerform basic maintenance on physical servers and storage systemsNetwork & Infrastructure SupportProvide on-site support for network switches, wireless access points, and other network-based equipment.Perform basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, ports, cabling)Assist with network hardware installs, replacements, and documentationOperational ResponsibilitiesAct as the on-site IT liaison for plant leadership and operations teamsTravel approximately one week per month to support other manufacturing sitesFollow IT security, change management, and operational standardsDeliver professional, customerfocused supportWork independently with minimal supervisionParticipate in afterhours or oncall support as requiredOther duties as assignedThis is an on-site position.
