Painter (Powder Coat)Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 5:30 AM-3:30 PMPay: $18/hr+Job PurposeSupport the Paint Line Team by applying high‐quality powder coating using cone, disk, or nozzle‐type industrial equipment. You may rotate between stations as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesStart and adjust conveyor and spray equipment.Set paint pressure and flow; monitor gauges.Hang parts as they come off the line.Inspect parts for paint quality (runs, sags, missed areas).Adjust spray patterns to correct coating issues.Clean paint booths, hooks, grids, and spray equipment.Hand‐spray parts for touch‐ups or rust prevention.Mix paint per specifications and adjust consistency.Follow SDS and safety requirements.Complete other assigned tasks.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred (not required)Experience & KnowledgeUnderstanding of powder coating, ovens, conveyors, and wash systems preferredAbility to read blueprints, specs, and shop documentation1+ year manufacturing or related experience preferredBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages)Ability to use calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measuresAbility to follow detailed written or verbal instructionsBasic problem‐solving abilitiesSkillsStrong attention to detailQuality‐focused; continuous improvement mindsetAble to collaborate professionally with coworkers and customersProblem‐solving and troubleshooting capabilitiesPhysical RequirementsRegular standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and handling materialsLift/move up to 50 lbs regularlyVision requirements: close, distance, color, and depth perceptionOther DetailsTravel: NoneDirect Reports: NoneDuties may change; additional tasks may be assigned
