Electrician Full-Time Tampa, FL. Compensation DOE: Up to $55/hr. Meet your talent advisor Kelly Maxwell Skilled Electrician to support field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems across various job sites in the greater Jacksonville Florida area. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused professional who is comfortable traveling to job sites and working hands-on in the field, and interpreting complex electrical plans and specifications. What You'll Do as an Electrician: As an Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems including conduit layouts, distribution equipment, and power systems. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to specification. Electrician Duties Include:Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specificationsLaying out and installing conduit systems (underground and in-dock)Installing and terminating conductors, cables, transformers, and distribution panelsReceiving, organizing, and managing materials on job sitesUsing power tools to drill, cut, and modify materials such as steel and concreteTroubleshooting electrical systems for faults, shorts, and voltage issuesInstalling and troubleshooting kilowatt-hour metersUtilizing testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and power quality analyzersConnecting and adjusting single and three-phase transformersPlanning work activities and ordering materials in advanceTraveling to various job sites as needed (up to 50% travel during peak times)Maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and participating in drug-free workplace programs What We're Looking For in an Electrician:High school diploma or GED required2 years of electrical experience or equivalent trainingValid Florida Journeyman Electrician license requiredStrong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical documents and schematicsExperience with marine, dock, or waterfront electrical systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety complianceMust have reliable transportationDependable with consistent attendance and work ethicTravel to different job sites as needed Perks & Benefits:Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to work on diverse and dynamic projectsStable, safety-focused work environment Send your resume to Kelly Maxwell Discover Your Next Opportunity with Career Transitions - A Morales Group Company Find your dream job in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, HR, sales, marketing, and more.
