Job Description – Data EngineerLocation: Remote (USA/Canada)Employment Type: Full-time (9–12 months contract, potential extension)Start Date: ImmediateAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our US-based project team. The ideal candidate will help design and implement modern data foundations using Snowflake, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and DBT. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines, manage data quality, and support analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and manage data pipelines and integrations using IICS.Build and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and entities.Implement DBT transformations to structure raw data for analytics.Develop and enforce business rules for data acceptance, quality checks, and automation.Consolidate, clean, and map data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, SFTP, Amazon buckets, etc.).Support the design and implementation of a data warehouse.Participate in requirement gathering, testing, deployment, and workshops.Document processes and solutions in Confluence/Jira.Actively engage in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) – able to work independently.Proficiency in SQL (data querying and optimization).Working knowledge of DBT.Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and analytics modeling.Excellent communication skills in English.North America based (USA or Canada).Preferred QualificationsBackground in Pharmaceutical industry or working with healthcare data.Experience with Agile methodologies.
